Music Choice Celebrates “The New Classics” for Black History Month
Featuring the Next Generation of Hip-Hop and R&B, Rap and R&B Soul Superstars
January 22, 2016 (New York, NY) – Music Choice, the #1 music provider on television, is celebrating Black History Month with a month-long campaign entitled “The New Classics” that will feature the next generation of Hip-Hop and R&B superstars and the music that inspired them to greatness. This February, stay connected to the leaders of Hip-Hop and R&B, Rap and R&B Soul as they set the pace and raise the game. Plus, see exclusive video content from your favorite artists.
A top level folder entitled “The New Classics” will be available On Demand starting Monday, February 1 until Sunday, February 28, 2016. Music videos from the hottest Hip-Hop and R&B superstars including Drake, Fetty Wap, Rihanna, The Weeknd and many more will be featured all month long! Exclusive :30 content clips will also appear post roll from artists like Tinashe, Jadakiss, Christina Milian and more in a feature called “Stay Connected.” The shorts will appear On Demand, the Music Choice App and social media and will feature artists talking about their music and culture. On the go music and videos will be featured on the Music Choice App including exclusive digital content on the Hip-Hop and R&B Video Channel.
Music Choice is also partnering with the 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival for the third consecutive year. This year’s music festival will take place March 18-20, 2016, at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. Special on the ground activations will take place each day to promote the Music Choice App and The New Classics programming offerings.
