Music Choice To Feature Girl Scouts on Sounds of the Seasons Live

Music Choice, the multi-platform video and music network, will feature the Girl Scouts from the Girl Scouts of Nassau County council in ‘Sounds of the Seasons Live,’ a series of live holiday performances airing on the TV network.  Starting Friday, December 8th, fans can tune in to see the girls singing holiday classics “Silent Night” and “12 Days of Christmas” on Music Choice On Demand.  “We believe that music is a powerful tool in inspiring this generation,” said Mishka Pitter-Armand, vice president of brand marketing at GSUSA.

Damon Williams, SVP Programming Strategy and Partnerships at Music Choice stated:  “Our Sounds of the Seasons Live programming brings the entire family together during the holiday season.  Having the Girl Scouts Choir perform to classic holiday songs was a great way to make sure we reach children of all ages.”

Girl Scouts join Kelly Clarkson, Jordan Fisher, Sabrina Carpenter, Granger Smith, Wyclef, and Jerry Rivera, who also recorded their favorite holiday songs for the series. All Sounds of the Seasons Live content can be found in the Holiday Hits category On Demand and the Holiday Hits Video Channel via web and app.  This marks the first time the company has offered a video component to its popular Sounds of the Seasons Music Channel.

Fans can download the Music Choice app and search holidays for all performances. To learn more about how Girl Scouts transforms today’s girls into tomorrow’s leaders, and to volunteer, reconnect, donate or join, visit

We're 2.6 million strong—1.8 million girls and 800,000 adults who believe in the power of every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ to change the world. Our extraordinary journey began more than 100 years ago with the original G.I.R.L., Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low. On March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, she organized the very first Girl Scout troop, and every year since, we’ve honored her vision and legacy, building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. We’re the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.
