Chris Brown Takes Over Music Choice to Promote New Album
Chris Brown Royalty Week to Air December 14-18th
December 11, 2015 (New York, NY) – Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Chris Brown is teaming up with Music Choice for Chris Brown Royalty Week December 14-18th to promote the pre-sale and launch of his seventh album “Royalty.” The album drops December 18th (http://smarturl.it/Royalty?IQid=MC) and Brown recently announced that he will personally donate $1 for every album purchased in the U.S. between now and Christmas to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and Best Buddies. He is the first artist that Music Choice has ever allowed to take over its entire platforms for a full week. Brown is one of the most popular artists on Music Choice, having been named an MC Icon earlier this year for his career achievements and the substantial impact he has had on MC fans since he appeared on our airwaves. As a result, it is fitting for him to treat Music Choice Fans to an exclusive content, sneak peak of his album and music videos for the entire week leading up to release day. With over 480 million TV views, Chris Brown is the top artist of all time on Music Choice On Demand.
To coincide with the takeover, Music Choice will release a promotional spot promoting Chris Brown Royalty Week Monday, December 14 through Friday, December 18th. Fans will be treated to everything Chris Brown all day across platforms including:
MC Music Channels: Music from Chris Brown’s Royalty album will be featured every hour on the hour on the Hip-Hop and R&B Music Channel along with his entire catalog of his songs, mixtapes, and a playlist curated by Chris Brown during the takeover week. The entire Royalty album will be played Thursday, December 17th from 8-9pm on the MC Hip Hop and R&B Channel.
MC On Demand: A new video will appear each day in the Brand New This Week folder. New videos from his album include: “Back To Sleep”, “Wrist”, “Anyway” and “A Little More”. Directional: Music Choice On Demand/BNTW and available on Comcast X1 platform.
MC App: Chris Brown will be featured on the homepage for the week promoting the new album. Exclusive behind the scenes footage and interviews will be featured on the Music Choice App and on the Hip-Hop and R&B Video Channel.
